In November, a Dance Group from Knavesmire Primary entered the Yorkshire Dance Festival. The theme of the event was ‘Reflections’ so the KS2 children created a vibrant, upbeat, energetic ‘reflective’ dance to Bellini’s Samba De Janeiro.
The main aim that we wanted the children to achieve was to have FUN, and they certainly did! They were so fantastic that they were asked to open the launch show!!!
The ‘Reflections’ theme stirred emotive, powerful, vibrant and thought provoking performances that were, without exception, a pleasure to experience. After performing their reflective piece, the children got to experience and enjoy all the other schools and college’s performances. It was a super day!
#KPSYear5 are absolutely smashing all their rehearsals this morning - we are so excited for everyone to see our performance this evening!! #Creative #Arty #HighExpectations
It's KPS quiz time! Staff were confident...until the first round was politics! #Resilient #Hardworking #Noidea
#KPSYear5 have had a brilliant time at the Brownlee Triathlon! Non stop smiling the whole afternoon, brilliant enthusiasm supporting and cheering on everyone here and meeting Jonathon Brownlee!
Our ETA back at school is 4pm!
